Tonight, Owen was asked to clean up his toys after dinner. He was working on it but it was a painfully slow process as nearly every toy needed some one-on-one attention on its way to its bin. Suddenly, Owen stopped in his tracks and announced, "Mom, I am not cleaning." I replied, "Excuse me?" He held out the McDonald's Batman action figure and said, "I am not cleaning because Batman is doing it!!" I said, "Well, Batman is slow! You need to tell him to get his butt in gear!" In response to my request, I heard this:
(like buttons being puched) Beep, boop, beep, beep, boop
(robot voice) "Butt in gear, check!"
...and off he went!
