Our beautiful baby boy has grown up sooooo much and has recently started attending preschool!!!! His school is called Shining Stars Preschool and his teachers are Miss Heidi and Miss Sherry. He goes twice a week and once he is in the doors, he loves it. The first day of school I was a slacker mom (and a bit emotional) so I forgot to take pictures. These were snapped today so I would have documentation of my cutie with his first school backpack.
He is still a little tentative when I drop him off. On the first day of school, during our drive, he kept saying, "Mommies always come back, right?" Now he has become more certain of this and simply lays down the law. "Remember the rule, Mama, you come get me after school is over or I will be angry." He sometimes says, "I am a little scared but that's okay."

Lessons in Talking
Owen has been receiving inexpensive higher education from his very smart older brother. I love watching the two of them interact and it is so wonderful to see Sawyer get excited for Owen when Owen finally gets it. Owen will also do almost anything to see his big brother smile. No matter how delicious Owen looks though...you have to watch out for his swift smack. You rarely see it coming.

Shake, Charlie!
Our puppy is growing up nicely....although, I honestly wish he would mature a little quicker!! He learns tricks quickly and Sawyer LOVES to practice with him. He thinks it is wonderful!! Check out this little video.

Family Cheese at the Park!
Well, the family finally got its act together and we all met at a park in Scottsdale for our Family Cheese. Sarah picked up some yummy sandwiches and the boys played from the moment their little feet hit the ground. Here are just a few pics of the cousins! In order you will see Lukas, Flying Owen & Dada, Lukas again, Soy & Coleman

Chinese Cultural Festival
Yep...we had to introduce Owen to people that look like him. Heheheheh. We had a great day even though our tardiness caused us to miss out on the company of the Hills. We watched dancers, ate noodles, marveled at some gigantic coy fish and Sawyer rode a pony (not sure what that had to do with the Chinese culture but he liked it)! The little girls getting ready to dance were too cute for words!!!Owen CONKED OUT on the walk back to the car...look at his cute little hand on his foot.
Catching Up
I can't believe it has been almost 2 months since I last posted on this blog. I thought this was supposed to be the answer to my communication issues!!! So much for that. I guess if you don't have time, you just don't have time.
Things in the Kop family have been crazy so there is a lot to add to the blog. I will get it posted as soon as I can to have a little faith. :)

"Uh-Oh!"
I finally got it!!! I can't believe it!!! After many unsuccessful attempts I have recorded the camera-shy "Uh-Oh." Owen says uh-oh all of the time. It is pretty much the first thing you hear when he wakes and at night it is the last thing he utters before slipping into sweet dreams. Every time I have tried to catch the phrase on film he has looked at me like a crazy person. This time though, for a brief moment, he forgot and delivered the adorable comment perfectly.
Mean Mama!
So, I am really not mean but I HAD to get this on camera because it was so devastatingly cute! The poor baby! He had offered me a nibble on his pizza crust but when I took it out of his hand he cried like I hd squished his poor little heart. So, of course, I had to do it again for posterity but I didn't expect it to be as extreme as this! He is still yummy...even in the depths of despair. :)

Owen's favorite toy
Our wonderful neighbors have allowed us to borrow their daughter's walker and Owen thinks it is the best thing since Cheerios! He loves it and moves around with it very quickly. I have to get a video of him on here soon but for now these pics will have to to! Please make note of the deliciousness of Owen's cheeks in the last picture. :)
